Principal's Welcome

I would like to personally welcome you to Rancho Milpitas Middle School.  Rancho Milpitas Middle School’s 2009-2010 school year is off to a great start.  With our Academic Performance Index score rising from 781 to 823 in the past year, we are excited to continue moving forward in our constant quest of superior learning.

Rancho continues to offer great programs such as Read 180, an English language program, and Math Skills interventions for student’s not meeting state academic standards.  The success rate is phenomenal!

Rancho has earned many honors over the past few years such as the California Distinguished Schools Award, National Schools to Watch Award, and the Region Principal of the Year and Co-Administrator awards.  In addition, our highly educated, professional teaching staff holds well over a dozen recognitions and awards. Rancho continues to work toward being a top leader in middle school education through innovative, progressive programs.

Our energetic, dedicated staff relentlessly strives to encourage community involvement in the pursuit of academic excellence for our youth.  The opportunities to get involved at Rancho are endless.  Attending events at Rancho says volumes to our students about the importance you place on education.  Any adult family member can volunteer some time to help translate at school events, help with the book fair, join the Dad’s Club, join us for Back-to-School Night, participate in the Rancho Reads Book Club, and so on.  Your commitment of time helps to set the standards for our children to lead successful and productive lives.

We encourage all members of our community to stop by our office.  I hope to have an opportunity to meet and greet every one of you.  Come see the great things happening at Rancho Milpitas Middle School!
